Being part of the local business community is as important as developing contacts across the UK and around the world. We are delighted to announce that TBM Rail has joined the extensive South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce’s business network.
You never know when you might need a product or service at short notice, and there’s nothing better than being able to support companies on your own doorstep. It is, however, so much more than that. Rubbing shoulders with professionals from other industries is the perfect way to build contacts, pick up information about new developments across the region, and of course learn new skills.
TBM Rail is now a well-established rail, tram and coach specialist that supplies products and services to transport operators. We aim to provide exceptional services that improve passenger comfort and the overall journey experience on rail and road. Our company boasts over twenty-five years of rail, transport and engineering experience.
It’s an exciting time for Cheshire, as motorway upgrades and investment in the county’s rail infrastructure will establish the area as the Gateway to the North, providing unparalleled access to what is being billed as the Northern Powerhouse.
TBM Rail’s Crewe base is a fabulous location, close to Manchester, Liverpool and of course Birmingham that is also enjoying extensive investment. The labyrinth of rail lines also provides easy access to Staffordshire and North Wales. Locating a business in the heart of South Cheshire is an easy decision to make.
For us, involvement in the South Cheshire Chamber is a superb opportunity to promote everything that’s going on in and around Cheshire. Work on perhaps the biggest rail project in UK history is about to start when it is passed by parliament. HS2 will bring amazing benefits to Crewe, Cheshire and the rest of the country. We are at the heart of it all, and engaging other businesses and raising awareness about the potential of so many opportunities will be our mission over the next few years.
TBM Rail is an expanding company and has already taken on apprentices to complement our existing skilled workforce. Discussing this and other jobs, training and investment ideas with fellow chamber members is something that we look forward to with eager anticipation.
