TBM Rail Supports Proactive CET Maintenance on West Midlands Railway Class 350 Fleet

Today we were delighted to be at Kings Heath Depot filming a CET tank flush on a West Midlands Railway Class 350 for Siemens Mobility.

It’s encouraging to see more operators, maintainers and fleet owners recognising the value of proactive CET maintenance and investing in preventative cleaning programmes rather than waiting for failures to occur.

A well-maintained CET system improves reliability, reduces blockages, minimises component failures and contributes to a better experience for both passengers and maintenance teams. Regular flushing helps remove the build-up of waste, scale and debris that can otherwise lead to costly defects and unnecessary downtime.

As the rail industry continues to focus on reliability, whole-life cost reduction and maximising the performance of existing assets, preventative maintenance activities such as CET flushing provide a simple yet highly effective solution.

We would like to thank Siemens Mobility and West Midlands Railway for their continued commitment to improving fleet performance, reliability and passenger experience.

At TBM Rail, we are proud to support the industry with specialist CET cleaning, flushing and overhaul services that help keep fleets operating efficiently, reliably and safely.

“Confidence in preventative maintenance today prevents failures tomorrow.”
